• To be eligible to enter you must live within in the British Isles...

 

• You must be a logged in subscribed site member of the Arctophilia Bear Making Supplies Website. We have recently created a new and exciting member area. To join our site simply log in with your email address , then add a profile photograph this can be anything to represent you, then add a simple introduction sentence about you, maybe even add a couple of photographs of your makes to the member gallery, don't forget if you choose to do this to label them by name and as yours! Once you complete this fun task you will be be eligible to enter the awards! While logged into your site member account pages of this website will be visible that you cant normally access.  You may notice we also now have a community Forum for members to use, please feel free to use this...

• When entering you must use your legal name, business name if you have one, address and working email address, and contact number. 

• You do not have to make any purchases from our online web-shop to enter!

• The work you enter must be your own creation and must be handcrafted in  2021 exclusively made for our awards.

• You can only use your own pattern design or have permission from the pattern copyright owner to use theirs!

• Design and make one SINGLE piece of soft sculpture to portray this years theme 'The Four Seasons'. It can be undressed or dressed or accessorised. 

• It can be made from mohair or viscose fabrics it can be painted, shaded, embroidered or felted.

• You can enter one single entry in keeping with this years theme 'The Four Seasons'  you must submit three photographs of your single creation from these view points.

E-Mail Your Photographs to us - Include your name and the name of your entry!

• You agree to allow Arctophilia Designs to use your name and photographs.

​

There will be three Award Categories 'Professional' - 'Maker ' - 'Novice'.

​

You are a 'Professional' if you have in the past or currently make and sell bears for a payment.

You are a 'Maker' if you make for pleasure regularly and have been doing this for more than a year.

You are a 'Novice' if you have been making bears for pleasure for less than a year.

• After subscribing to Arctophilia Bear Making Supplies and filling in your basic profile you must then fill in the entry form and and send it to us. 

• Then consider our theme 'The Four Seasons' and create your very best entry. 

• We will be working hard to publicise and promote these yearly awards and we ask you help us advertise and promote the awards too. 

• We accept no late entries that means sent after 18th December 2021! 

• All entries will be judged by a  panel of four judges including Lorraine all work within the craft industry. 

• You accept your work will be discussed and judged fairly solely on its creative artistic merit.

• Finalist notifications will be made (date to be announced).

• Winning entries will be posted on social media.

• All prizes will be donated and awarded and honoured by Arctophilia Bear Making Supplies. 

• Prizes cannot be used by anyone other than the award winner.
